Lighthouse Gems

Glass pieces set into a floor/ceiling of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon. The lighthouse was built before electricity was available, so the glass pieces were set in the top of the lighthouse to let light into the space below. When photographed from underneath, the prisms shine with refracted light and make an otherworldly abstract.
